Delta-T Scan measures root length, root surface and counts root tips.
The system used a flat-bed scanner to measure a large sample at High resolution. The options include general purpose image analysis functions such as shape and size analysis, direct measurements from maps and photos of known scale, counting of overlapping seeds and small objects, soil particle size distribution, sorting by standard sieve mesh sizes and leaf area measurements.
